my glass is always half full

I live by the motto, "The glass is always half full."
I try to go through life with a smile on my face and a positive outlook
on whatever comes my way. While I may no longer be in my twenties,
I still feel young at heart and never seem to lose my playful side.
Once, I even had a role in the Israeli sitcom
"Shemesh".
My world is shaped by music,
games, riddles and wordplay.
I rarely express myself directly; instead, I communicate through detours,
hints and puzzles.
I love to joke around, and sometimes the simplest things strike me
as so absurdly funny that I can't stop laughing.
Yet beneath all the smiles, there is also a more thoughtful and
reflective side to me. I sometimes find myself wishing that life would
be even more beautiful if I could share it with a kind and loving
woman by my side.
That is why I continue my search on dating
sites, guided by another
favorite motto of mine:
"Wise people before us already said, 'It is not good for man to be
alone'
... so let's change that."
Like many people, I occasionally struggle with self-doubt.
No matter how many kind compliments I receive about my appearance,
I can still be my own harshest critic and catch myself saying,
"I don't like myself."
At times, I also feel discouraged by how difficult it is for me to
find the right
woman. My natural shyness
makes it hard to open up,
and building the trust needed to truly connect with someone can
be a long and challenging journey. But despite the obstacles, I haven't given
up hope. I still believe that somewhere out there is a woman
who will appreciate me for who I am, smiles, quirks, doubts, and all. |
